You must bring a valid physical 18+ photo ID that has not expired, as required by the Board of Health. I will not tattoo anyone under the age of 18, regardless of if there's parental consent or not.
Military IDs, Driver's Licenses, Liquor Licenses, or State ID legally issued with photo and date of birth are valid for legal identification and should be with you for every appointment.
(NO LICENSES TO CARRY/NO BIRTH CERTIFICATES/NO SCHOOL IDs/NO MEDICAL CARDS and NO PERMITS/PAPER IDs) I cannot tattoo you if you do not have valid ID either on file or on hand.
It is important to maintain stable blood sugar and hydration in order to prevent dizziness, nausea, or fainting caused by the body's natural stress response. The pain and adrenaline of a tattoo can make your blood sugar drop, leading to lightheadedness. Snacking and hydrating ensures you stay conscious and comfortable.
Wear clean, comfortable and loose-fitting clothing that provides easy access to the area being tattooed. Do not wear clothing or shoes you care about as they may come in contact with ink.
You may get chills or overheat during a tattoo, so wearing or bringing extra soft loose layers is ideal in the case you may want to remove articles of clothing or put layers on. It is also useful in case your artist needs more space to stretch or wipe than provided with the clothes you started with. Being prepared for different scenarios is key.
Things like headphones, fidget toys, stuffed animals, books, your phone, handheld video games or a tablet are all welcomed. You may want to avoid activities requiring significant body movement if it will affect the area the artist is working. Bring a portable charger to keep your devices powered during long sessions.
Cash is preferred but I am happy to take all sorts of payment such as card, Venmo or Cash App. You may split your payments up between different payments.
