Can I Bring Guests With Me?
You must be age 18+ with valid ID to get tattooed. Two guests age 16+ max please. Please ensure your guests also practice good hygiene.
Guests will be asked to leave if they are making the experience stressful for either party and we may need to reschedule.
It is important to avoid bringing guests that are not completely supportive in your decisions or are too vocal about their own personal preferences over yours.
Sometimes it can feel beneficial to have guests with you in case of uncertainty, but you should only book a tattoo if you are sure of general placement and what your definite wants are for a design, after consulting with your artist. Guests must be respectful of my opinions as the tattoo artist and your thoughts as the procedure is affecting your body.
Most tattoo studios do not allow young children and only allow 18+ in the procedure room. This is in an effort to protect the safety of children, the practitioner and the client.
Children and teenagers are curious and even if you believe them to be well behaved we want our environment to be as clean and distraction free so you get the best possible outcome. Something can and often does go awry quickly, whether it's touching something exposed to bloodborne pathogens, knocking something over, or complaining about being bored and potentially throwing a fit.
Keeping a studio 18+ ensures children will not be exposed to artwork, language or music that may not be suitable.
Friends and family can make or break a tattoo experience. It is important to only bring very supportive people that will not be overbearing to you or your artist. The demeanor of a person and how distracting they are to you or an artist can absolutely affect the outcome of your final product since tattooing is such an intimate experience that requires concentration on your artist's part. The more locked in an artist is, the better the service will be they can provide for you.
Clients should avoid guests with unwanted opinions that may cause doubt. Keeping a session as relaxing as possible for everyone involved is very important in achieving a smooth enjoyable experience. Please only bring two age 16+ guests max.
